As precautionary measures ramp up in Australia, amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Sleep Testing Australia has implemented several policies to help protect our staff, patients and the communities we serve.
Amongst these precautions we have asked any staff member experiencing symptoms of acute respiratory infection to not be in-store or in contact with other staff or patients. We are paying close attention to the advice issued by Queensland Health and the Australian Government and are pleased to advise that our services are currently running per our usual schedule.
In light of the situation however, we ask that any patients suffering from symptoms of acute respiratory infection postpone their sleep study for a number of weeks until the symptoms have subsided. We also advise anyone who has returned from an overseas trip in the last 14 days or has come in contact with suspected carriers of COVID-19, self-isolate for the mandatory 14 day period as advised by authorities.
Our staff will be administering screening questions to all patients booked in and additional infection control procedures are being taken in store to ensure Sleep Testing Australia remains a safe service for all.
